About the role

The Opportunity:  

The Order Management Deal Desk Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, managing contract risk, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration at ACA.  This role will help manage and monitor ACA’s business deals to ensure compliance with ACA’s contract standards and will be responsible for reviewing and approving proposals and contracts for standard term exceptions before they are sent to customers for signature.  The Order Management Deal Desk analyst will be the primary liaison between Sales, Legal, and Sales Leadership for exception approvals. 

 

What you’ll do:  

  •  Monitor the deal desk queue in a timely manner for any deals that meet the criteria requiring Deal Desk review.
  • Review and ensure that order forms, proposals, and contracts submitted to deal desk are approved within deal desk policy.
  • Assist Sales Reps with securing approval for contract term changes.
  • Review contracts for completeness.
  • Validate contract discounts to ensure compliance with discount structure and approval.
  • Interface with Finance, Commercial, and Legal to make recommendations for contract terms changes.
  • Maintain agreed upon SLA’s for deal turnaround times.
  • Document deal approvals in Salesforce.com.
  • Log and track deals submitted to Deal Desk to aid in deal compliance tracking.

 

To Qualify for the role, you will have:  

  • Minimum 2 years working with contracts and contract term negotiations or similar experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or similar field
  • (Highly desired locations: NYC/Tri-state, Pittsburgh, Chattanooga, Portland, Boston, Chicago, Florida, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, or Houston)

 

Ideally, you’ll also have: 

  • Experience working with Salesforce.com
  • Experience in Finance/Sales Operations

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Salesforce, and the Internet
