Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Distribution Inc. (BDI) is seeking an Associate Shipping & Receiving Specialist (Level B). The Shipping & Receiving Specialist completes initial part verification and identification on outgoing shipments according to shipping processes and procedures. Processes and confirms receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers. Maintains inventory of shipping supplies at our Dallas, TX facility.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location:  Dallas, TX

Position Responsibilities:

Shipping & Receiving

• Responsible for the receipt and shipment of incoming materials, supplies, and products.

• Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.

• Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used.

• Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.

Research

• Research and resolve discrepancies between actual product and associated documentation.

• Records information as it pertains to shipments, including weight, charges, damages, or any discrepancies.

Other

• Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Multi-tasks and pays attention to detail on daily tasks

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Must be able to stand/bend for extended periods of time to successfully perform the job requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs

• Must be able to operate PIT equipment. Stand-up, Sit-down, Stock-chaser, etc.

• Must be able to work additional hours as needed, including weekend as needed.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years of Shipping and Receiving Experience

• 1+ years of SAP knowledge

• Ability to navigate Microsoft Office tools/internet browser

Typical Education & Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift:  This is a 2nd Shift position typically starting at 12:00pm.

Summary Pay Range: $33,000 - $58,000/Annually
