Senior Platform Engineer

<h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Senior technical role within the <strong>Global Operations team</strong>, responsible for ensuring stability, security, and performance of critical integration platforms.</li><li>Opportunity to influence operational strategy and shape best practices for enterprise integration platforms.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Act as a <strong>technical authority</strong> for operational aspects of:<ul><li>API Management (Microsoft)</li><li>Event Management (Solace &amp; Kafka)</li><li>iPaaS (Workato)</li></ul></li><li>Ensure platform reliability and implement <strong>preventative IT security measures</strong>, including:<ul><li>Vulnerability management and patching</li><li>Identity and access control</li><li>Secure configuration and compliance audits</li><li>Disaster recovery planning</li></ul></li><li>Drive <strong>automation and observability improvements</strong>, including:<ul><li>Automating routine operational tasks</li><li>Enhancing monitoring and alerting capabilities</li></ul></li><li>Provide operational requirements and technical input to platform development teams.</li><li>Adhere to <strong>ITIL-based operational frameworks</strong>, including change management and incident handling.</li><li>Build strong relationships across a large organization to support collaboration and knowledge sharing.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Required Technical Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Senior-level proficiency</strong> in at least one of:<ul><li>Microsoft API Management</li><li>Event-driven architecture (+Solace or Kafka)</li><li>Enterprise automation tools (+Workato)</li></ul></li><li>Cloud proficiency (Azure) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Scripting skills using tools/languages such as (Python, Bash, Java-script, ARM, Bicep)</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>preventative IT security practices</strong>.</li><li>Experience with <strong>observability and monitoring tools</strong>, such as:<ul><li>Splunk / Splunk Observability</li><li>Datadog</li><li>Grafana</li><li>Prometheus</li><li>Dynatrace</li><li>Azure Monitor</li></ul></li><li>Familiarity with <strong>Open Telemetry</strong> standard</li><li>Experience with <strong>ITSM and planning tools</strong>, such as:<ul><li>ServiceNow</li><li>Jira</li></ul></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum <strong>7+ years of experience</strong> in platform engineering or similar technical roles.</li><li>Proven track record in managing and supporting enterprise integration platforms in an operational capacity.</li><li>Experience in designing and implementing robust monitoring, alerting, and security solutions.</li><li>Familiarity with I<strong>TIL processes</strong> and operational governance frameworks.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Key Soft Skills</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Strategic problem-solving</strong> – ability to design and implement long-term operational improvements.</li><li><strong>Networking and relationship-building</strong> – influence across teams and geographies.</li><li><strong>Curiosity and innovation</strong> – enjoys exploring and learning about new technologies and solutions.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Impact</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure business continuity and operational excellence across enterprise integration platforms.</li><li>Contribute to shaping operational strategy and best practices.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><em><strong>Please note</strong></em>: As our culture and teamwork are very important to us, four days (80%) per week of in-office presence in our office are required. </p><p>This is a full-time position with placement in <strong>Stockholm</strong>. </p><p> </p><p><strong>WHO WE ARE:  </strong><br/> Shaping the future of fashion with people, data, and tech.
