Location: Logan Health – Kalispell, Montana

Shift: Day Shift – 10 Hours | Full-Time – 40 Hours

This is a role where precision meets compassion – where you’ll partner with an expert care team, make critical decisions, and help patients through some of their most important moments.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process to patients in the Interventional Radiology setting.

  • Maintain nursing standards of care while responding to changing workloads and patient conditions – prioritizing, collaborating, and staying calm under pressure.

  • Transcribe and implement provider orders and treatments accurately, both verbal and written.

  • Anticipate patient needs and coordinate interventions according to policy, procedure, and provider direction.

  • Practice strict infection control procedures per policy.

  • Educate patients and families regarding health and medical needs per department protocol.

  • Problem-solve issues affecting patient care and collaborate with colleagues to ensure best possible outcomes.

Call Requirements

This position requires participation in an on-call rotation to ensure patient safety and coverage for urgent procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing in Montana; required.

  • Healthcare Provider CPR and/or BLS certification required (additional certifications may be required per assigned area).

  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology, HIPAA guidelines, OSHA regulations, infection control procedures, and applicable medical equipment/supplies.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills with a detail-oriented, proactive, and self-starting approach.

  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in high-pressure situations.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to work well with diverse teams and patient populations.

  • Professionalism, tact, and diplomacy in handling sensitive and confidential matters.

  • Commitment to teamwork, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn additional software systems as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

  • 2+ years of nursing experience in a similar position within a hospital, clinic, or physician office.

  • Experience in Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, or Critical Care.

  • Advanced certification(s) applicable to Interventional Radiology or Critical Care.

  • Previous IR or Cath Lab call experience.
