About the role

Position Summary 

The Inventory and Order Management Supervisor will lead a small team and serve as the primary point of contact for customer relationships, inventory management and control, order fulfillment, and warehouse organization. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as hands-on experience in logistics and inventory systems.   

This role focuses heavily on the software systems aspect of inventory management and may include manual handling from time to time to support in peak periods.  

This is a high-visibility role, reporting to the VP of Procurement, with ownership of both strategic growth initiatives and day-to-day commercial execution. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and support warehouse technician(s), ensuring efficient daily operations and adherence to safety protocols. 

• Customer Relationship Management & Revenue: Maintain relationships with vendor managed inventory customers, identify and leverage opportunities to increase revenue.  

• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate company and customer owned inventory records & levels, oversee regular cycle counts, and implement best practices to minimize shrinkage or stock discrepancies. 

• Inventory Management:  Create and maintain robust material master data.  Work with S&B parts team to establish target RNWBL-owned inventory. 

• Order Management: Coordinate incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing, packaging, and shipping. 

• Process Improvement: Develop and refine workflows for receiving, storing, and dispatching materials to optimize productivity and reduce errors. 

• Systems Management: Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels, monitor reorder points, and generate reports. 

• Vendor & Internal Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, operations, and service teams to ensure materials are available for projects and customer needs. 

• Compliance & Safety: Ensure warehouse operations meet company standards, industry regulations, and environmental and workplace safety requirements. 

• Reporting: Prepare regular updates on inventory metrics, order accuracy, and team performance for management review.
