The Plant Maintenance Technician will provide maintenance, electric, and hydraulic engineering services and support.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensures that the facility’s equipment and machines are maintained properly and working correctly.
• Oversees the facility’s maintenance program; identifies and analyzes equipment or machinery failures and takes corrective actions.
• Provides technical training to management and other team members.
• Coordinates work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Thorough understanding of welding equipment
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Able to read blueprints and support manuals

Education and Experience:

• Five years of experience in manufacturing industry preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the production facility
• Ability to work on your feet most 85
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds at a time.
