The Regional Educator Pathway Coordinator will serve within Tarleton State University’s College of Education to lead a collaborative initiative supporting instructional aides in their journey to become certified teachers. This position will coordinate efforts across school districts, workforce boards, and community colleges to design and implement a seamless educator pathway program. The Coordinator will facilitate monthly cohort meetings, provide individualized student support, and ensure alignment with Department of Labor apprenticeship standards and grant requirements.

The Coordinator will champion student success, foster strong partnerships with educational stakeholders, and support teacher preparation. Serves as Campus Security Authority (CSA).

This is a 12-month, full-time position with standard in-office hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or as required by program needs. Regular travel is expected to partner school districts, community colleges across the region, and to the Stephenville campus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design and Lead Monthly Cohort Meetings

  • Develop agendas and activities that align with the goals and needs of the cohort.

  • Facilitate engaging and supportive cohort sessions focused on academic progress, workplace application, and professional growth.

  • Provide cohort meeting dates and locations to LEA in a timely manner for coverage planning purposes.

Collaborate with School and District Partners

  • Coordinate with the ISD and school leadership to identify on-the-job real-time learning experiences aligned to program competencies.

  • Maintain strong relationships with school partners to monitor cohort members’ progress and ensure that the district’s needs are met.
