Senior Metrics and Reporting Analyst

The Metrics and Reporting Team is seeking a Senior Metrics and Reporting Analyst to support the goal of transitioning to a data-driven organization by aligning analytics to process and business information needs. This role is critical in ensuring Personal Risk Services (PRS) continues to deliver high quality service to our agency partners and clients and will work closely with stakeholders, decision makers, and process leaders in supporting operational decisions through innovative solutions. 

The Senior Metrics and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for reporting and modeling functions including, data modeling, data mining, data management, Qlik reporting development trend analysis/detection, etc. to assist business teams in making informed, data driven decisions. This position will also be responsible for conducting reporting and analysis of key operational metrics for the benefit of improving the overall efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of business outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design new reporting solutions leveraging BI tools like Qlik Sense which provide users self-service capabilities 
• Work directly with business partners to define requirements and design Qlik Sense reporting
• Evaluate and propose appropriate design options that meet client requirements and are consistent with client's current standards and processes
• Collect and organize data from various sources through multiple approaches, verify data accuracy 
• Perform detailed analysis of source systems and source system data and model that data in Qlik Sense. Extract, transform and load data from multiple sources into Qlik Sense applications
• Design, develop, and test Qlik Sense scripts, source system data imports and dashboards to ensure solution meets client needs. Perform quality coding to satisfy business and technical requirements
• Familiarity with data indexing and report optimization techniques to ensure low latency dashboard updates
• Maintain documentation related to report specifications and user guides
• Ensure that the Qlik Sense server process continues to run and operate in the most efficient manner. Troubleshoot technical issues and engage appropriate support teams in resolution
• Coordinate with business users and senior leadership to report on metrics and identify new metrics that are needed
• Deliver statistical analysis to identify performance development opportunities and build cases for change.
• Work with PRS Operations to ensure consistent reporting of metrics across the organization. Provide accurate and timely recommendations to PRS Operations senior leaders that drive key business decisions/strategies
• Guide enhancements to the existing data collection processes to improve data quality
• Network across analytics teams within Chubb to establish best practices and share successes
• Establish a strong understanding and connection with IT data sources when needed to generate, validate & discuss data sources and validity.

• Experienced in application designing, architecting, development and deployment using Qlik Sense. Knowledge of front-end design and data visualization techniques and best practices
• Insurance experience and/or Management Consulting experience a plus 
• Full understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing and data transformation
• Advanced proficiency in Qlik Sense, SQL, and MS Excel including Excel Macros and VBA, MS Access, and PowerPoint is required
• Experience with SharePoint and InfoPath, Python, and use of BI tools as well as knowledge of telephony platforms such as CXone and Cisco is desirable
• Experience with complex Qlik Sense functions and developing optimal scripts.
• Hands-on experience in Qlik Sense development, dashboarding, data modeling and reporting (ad hoc report generation) techniques.
• Proven experience in an analytics driven role. Experience in building statistics and business insights to optimize business decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills to properly deconstruct the problem and determine viable solution options using data as a guide, experience in data analysis and reporting; strong attention to details, logical approach to thinking through problems and complex issues, able to conduct root/cause analysis 
• Robust communication, presentation and data visualization skills, ability create powerful presentations/deliverables through charts, graphs, or other dashboard style reporting; ability to interact effectively with the senior leadership team, translate results into actionable insights and articulate their implications for business decisions and outcomes.
