CMG Financial has a great opportunity for an entry level administrative assistant to support our Chief Risk and Compliance Officer with administrative duties for Licensing, Compliance, the Audit teams. Great opportunity for a new grad to join a growing company. Must be able to work onsite at our San Ramon headquarters 5 days a week. Below is a description of what the position will grow into.
Administrative Assistant General Duties:
- Manage Chief Risk & Compliance Officer Calendar/ Meetings.
- Working with different time zones and adding into
- Responsible for scheduling Compliance & Risk meetings as needed.
- Ability to critically think and assert oneself as necessary in regard to schedules, tasks, assigned, due dates, etc.
- Responsible for taking minutes and notes as needed by the Risk/ Compliance Team.
- Ability to revise notes as minutes for distribution outside organization.
- Assist with Risk Executive/ Senior Leadership Travel/ Travel Schedules.
- Facilitate Catering/ Lunch orders for team meetings and summits.
- Assist with the organization of summits and events related to Risk & Compliance.
- Ability to take the lead and initiative on emails and tasks…
- Assist with providing documentation and using best judgment to follow up on emails you’re ccd on.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize assigned tasks.
- Impeccable organization skills
- Flexibility to assist Risk & Compliance departments with special projects as needed.
- Research on regulations, policy updates, programs, consent orders, ad hoc projects.
- Manage running list for Chief Risk & Compliance Officer.
- Follow up with stakeholders as needed.
- Keep list of review/approval items.
- Execute approved items as completed.
- Facilitate asks to other leaders.
- Give weekly status updates to Chief Risk & Compliance Officer.
- Meeting/ Administrative Management
- Keep running list of items opened/closed action items.
- Note holder.
- Add necessary documentation and discussion points.
- Facilitate transportation as needed to assist with Executive travel during special events.
- Assign Team Tasks as needed.
- Assure action items are being delivered to stakeholders. Sometimes the attendees will not be in meeting action items were assigned.
- Follow up on action items assigned that relate to a project assigned to Risk & Compliance.
- Maintain high confidentiality.
PROFICIENT IN:
Outlook, Concur, Scheduling Assistant (Outlook/Teams), Teams, Microsoft, Excel,
CMG pays a competitive base which ranges from $50,000 - $55,000. Factors that affect base salary may include: Education, Administrative/clerical experience, knowledge of mortgage industry, computer skills and customer service experience.
