A Day in the Life of a CFO

As the CFO of the company, you will work directly with our President, our COO, and our senior-most leadership to help chart the course of the company’s future. You will oversee all our financial activities, maintaining the integrity of accounting procedures, records and internal controls. You will help make decisions that support our bottom line and strengthen our mission.

You will lead a 20-person financial team that is currently in place, and will be actively engaged in the hiring of staff to grow your team. Your leadership will create a productive and supportive environment, fostering a culture of mentorship and collaboration to bring out the best in each team member.

This full-time position works a hybrid schedule, with at least three days a week in our corporate office in downtown Silver Spring, MD. We are located just outside of Washington DC, close to shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops. We’re conveniently located two blocks from the Silver Spring Metrorail/MARC Station and bus depot. Our beautiful 8th floor suite offers stunning views of DC and surrounding Montgomery County. The office is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, and via transit.

Work Schedule for a Chief Financial Officer

This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40-45 hours a week. We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work up to two days from home.
