Machine Operator

Description

A Machine Operator employee will work for Good Foods to process and package eggs to the highest standard of quality while contributing to their specific task of achieving plant production targets. The job will mostly include the operation and maintenance of company assets. This will be executed using hard work, reliability, and dedication to excellence. 

Responsibilities include: 

1. Follows all Food Safety and Quality Procedures including but not limited to HACCP requirements, GMP, Food Defense, and Food Security, and escalated through appropriate channels

2. Setting up machines to start production cycles (calibration. Cleaning, etc)

3. Ensure all materials are readily available

4. Carry out production, inspection packaging, and machine operation duties

5. Monitor production equipment 

6. Verify output to spot any machine-related errors

7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment 

8. Change equipment tooling as needed 

9. Operate and maintain all power industrial trucks 

10. Perform all product verification to ensure equipment is producing eggs to the highest quality 

11. Perform pre-assembly production setup as required 

12. Adjust equipment to operate in a manner that maximizes throughput 

13. Ensure product and process quality through appropriate inspection and packing process. 

14. Maintain efficiency and follow safety protocols at all times 

15. Stack, pack, count, and label complete products that are ready for distribution 

16. Perform appropriate duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications: 

1. Familiarity with processing equipment 

2. Ability to work in cold environment 

3. Ability to thrive in fast paced environment 

4. Ability to work in teams
