Reporting to the Vice President Corporate Legal &amp; Group Company Secretary, this role provides internal legal support of all Corporate Legal Matters globally within Springer Nature and for the Group Company Secretary.</span></span><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Role </span><span>R</span><span><span>esponsibilities </span></span></b><span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Play an integral role in working in the General Counsel’s Office within the Corporate Legal &amp; Group Company Secretariat team in Berlin, Germany.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Advise</span><span> the business in Corporate Law matters, especially with a focus on capital market matters</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Advise in and proactively manage corporate transactional matters for Springer Nature, including finance transactions, international Mergers &amp; Acquisitions &amp; disposals, legal restructurings</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Be an active and impactful member of the General Counsel’s Office and work in a coordinated and collaborative manner to contribute to success of the General Counsel’s Office and of Springer Nature globally</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Coordinate with global <span>colleagues/stakeholders,</span> both within and outside the General Counsel’s Office</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Manage External Lawyers</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Experience, Skills &amp; Qualifications:</span></b><span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Volljurist</span><span>*in with extensive professional experience</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>German Corporate law experience including capital market law </span><span>required</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Experience with corporate files as well as with general contract law</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>English Language </span><span>required</span><span> (Business Fluency).
