About the Team

The Roku Originals Production Team is responsible for all aspects of production management and production operations for all Roku Originals including RO branded acquisitions. They manage all production budgets and schedules, track overall content spend, and are responsible for all production logistics (shoot location, crew/staff, etc).

In collaboration with the RO cross-functional team, they built out and maintain all production processes and workflows as they relate to Roku Originals. 

 

About the Role

Roku is seeking a Production Coordinator to join the Roku Originals Production Team.  As part of the Roku Originals Team, the Production Coordinator will support the Head of Production and coordinate across alternative, scripted and branded productions for The Roku Channel.

 As the Production Coordinator you will have the opportunity of creating and maintaining organization across the Production team's competing priorities.  

For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $24 - $46 per hour.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you will be doing

  • Support the Head of Production with scheduling meetings
  • Provide internal cross-functional communication by facilitating timely distribution of information via internal systems of communication (e.g. Confluence, SharePoint Site, Airtable)
  • Maintain and update external production documents to ensure efficient and timely flow ofinformation (e.g., Roku Staff List and Distro List, Calendars)
  • Coordinate partner access to the Roku Deliverables Hub and track receipt of deliverables – followup with partners, provide support to the extent partners have questions about their deliverables
  • Work with the broader Production Team to ensure ongoing productions are running smoothly and that productions are following Roku production processes; adhere to schedule, uploading all required documents particularly as it relates to production paperwork (e.g., Call Sheets,PR’s, contact sheets, etc.)
  • Occasional review of development/script analysis, breakdown cast, locations/sets
  • Work in tandem with production management executives to onboard and support original productions
  • Serve as a bridge between productions and Roku teams to ensure both sides receive pertinent updates in a timely manner
  • Audit completion/delivery of production materials during pre-production, production, and wrap

 

We're excited if you have

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Production Coordinator at a streaming and/or entertainment and media company
  • Working knowledge of production operations
  • Proactive with ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize across multiple, on-going productions
