About the Position:

The Open Market Quoting Analyst I works in a high volume environment, processing and reviewing benefits quotes for accuracy. This role will report to an Open Market Quoting Manager that is responsible for adhering to and enhancing established processes, turnaround times, and accuracy metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and follow established processes to hit aggressive turnaround time requirements.

• Interpret census data and plan information, and review it for accuracy.

• Utilize various internal and external tools to run quotes and review quotes for accuracy.

• Provide feedback on current processes to increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 1-2+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of college work and work experience.

• Intermediate employee benefits knowledge, multi-state experience preferred.

• Detail oriented, with experience in a high volume/fast paced environment a plus.

• Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel. Knowledge of Project Management software and Database software is a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and team commitment.

• Demonstrated math aptitude to include the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.

• Active Life & Health license

Work Location:

This position has both hybrid and remote working opportunities.

Salary Transparency:

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
