Data Engineer

At Winning Consulting, we are seeking a Data Engineer to be part of a project for one of our key multinational clients in the energy sector in Porto (Hybrid).

Functions:

• Extraction and interpretation of information from large volumes of opertational and business data.
• Collecting, cleaning and transforming data to ensure its quality and reliability.
• Implementation of scripts in Python and SQL to optimize data flows and repetitive processes.
• Develop ETL processes.
• Development of data pipleines and automation of reports and processes.

Required skills:

• Until 10 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar roles.
• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineer or similar.
• Experience in cloud enviroments (AWS, Azure), including cloud computing, databases (PostgreSQL), networking and security.. 
• Knowledge in programing languages (SQL, Python).
• Knowledge in Relational and Non-Relational Databases for data management and extraction.
• Knowledge in agile methologies using tools such as Jira, Confluence.
• Languages: English (mandatory), Portuguese (optional) and Spanish (optional).
