The BioProcessing Filtration Zone Leader is responsible for managing a team of Specialists driving sales and new business for Cytiva.
This position reports to the BioProcess Modality Regional Leader and is part of the Commercial USCAN team. This position is ideally located in the Western United States and is a fully remote position.
What you will do:
- Coach and develop direct reports, including the creation and execution of personalized development plans for each Filtration Specialist.
- Creation of a strategic plan and roadmap for your region that defines where the company and our customers can partner to grow and develop in the biomanufacturing sector.
- Ensure that your team’s account plans address advanced scenario planning, including impacts resulting from changes in the customer's product development pipeline, manufacturing strategy, and consolidation moves.
- Develop and implement a plan to gain deeper trust and engagement from senior management for both our customers and Cytiva.
- Support your team in reviewing and negotiating contractual arrangements with customers, and develop strategies for future contracts with new customers.
- Create accurate reports of existing business, utilizing tools such as SFDC and QlikSense, and maintain a precise forecast of both short and long-term business opportunities through the coordination of all stakeholders.
- Achieve annual and quarterly sales goals.
Who you are:
- Minimum Education to bachelor’s degree level in biological sciences, engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees and/or formal business training preferred.
- Extensive experience (7 + years) in customer-facing sales, ideally supporting the Biopharmaceutical industry. Previous sales management experience a plus.
- Financial acumen as demonstrated through the ability to interpret and present internal and external financials to reflect overall business and customer drivers and performance.
- Proven account management and project planning skills
- Outstanding influencing, interpersonal, and networking skills to drive a collaborative culture at all levels.
- High-level presentation skills; able to present ideas in English to customers and internally in a way that produces understanding and impact.
- Knowledge/experience in Biopharmaceutical manufacturing, clinical development, or R&D.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel 50% of the time to the US and Canada.
- Valid motor vehicle license

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
