An exciting opportunity for a Meter Data Analyst - Embedded Networks (Full-time role) has arisen in the Billing team at Diamond Energy, an Energy Bay brand.

We are looking for a commercially driven Meter Data Analyst (Embedded Networks) to join our dynamic team. This role will ensure that all meter data is available in EMS to support timely and accurate billing across Embedded Networks.

As a Meter Data Analyst (Embedded Networks) with Diamond Energy, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the accurate receival of data from utility meters inside embedded networks (electricity, gas, water, etc.) and validating the information for accuracy and completeness

• Coordinating with metering co-ordinators, meter data providers, and field technicians to ensure timely and accurate meter data is received

• Conducting regular checks and audits to ensure that the meter data is accurate, consistent, and free from discrepancies

• Investigating and resolving any issues with missing, incomplete, or incorrect data in the system

• Processing and entering manual meter readings into utility billing systems, ensuring that data is correctly mapped to the respective customer accounts. Further, monitoring automated meter data management systems for efficient data flow and flag any anomalies

• Analysing meter data to identify usage trends, potential discrepancies, or patterns of interest. Generating regular reports for internal teams, management, and external stakeholders on meter data, usage statistics, and performance metrics

• Ensuring seamless integration of meter data with other operational systems, such as Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), and Energy Management Suit (EMS). Troubleshooting integration issues and working with IT teams to resolve any technical challenges

• Liaising with meter data providers and metering co-ordinators to rectify comms issues, substitute data instances, and other issues

• Owning processes for successfully processing manual read data into system

• Implementing and maintaining up to date EN meter data related technical procedure documents

You will be successful in the role if you possess:

• A minimum of 1 years plus experience in utility meter data management, metering systems, or related fields

• Knowledge of utility metering systems and technologies essential.

• Experience in meter data management across distributed energy resources (PV, BESS, EV) highly desirable.

• Experience in embedded network meter data management preferred, especially for electricity, gas, and hot water.

• Experience with automated meter
