Your New Role:
As security architect, ideal candidate is expected to:
Understand technical security issues and the implications to WBD businesses and be able to communicate them to management and other business leaders.
Understand emerging security technologies and determine the appropriate use within business applications.
Maintain and enforce WBD’s cybersecurity policies and secure design documentation.
Execute and improve on WBD’s Security architecture review process and ensure compliance for all business initiatives.
Architect global programs that deploy strong security patterns and controls across applications and computing environments, while addressing security, business resiliency, privacy, and compliance frameworks
Identify security vulnerabilities and guide developers and engineers in addressing these issues
Improve architectural adoption through automation and efficiently use security tools to solve challenges at scale.
Validate reference architectures for security best practices and recommend changes to enhance security and reduce risk, where applicable
Collaborate with our corporate functions including Internal Audit, Compliance, Privacy, and Sourcing to ensure that WBD maintains a strong cybersecurity posture.
Your Role Accountabilities:
Ability to apply the methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting an organization's enterprise information technology (IT) architecture (e.g., Open Group Architecture Framework [TOGAF], Department of Defense Architecture Framework [DoDAF], Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework [FEAF]). Identify and address security gaps, align standards, frameworks and security with business and IT strategy
Advise technology teams and senior management of identified risks and treatment options. Define or revise security elements, standards, and solutions for various technologies to achieve optimal security posture while delivering on business goals
Host and operating systems hardening, baselines, auditing, monitoring and logging with appropriate security controls and best practices while meeting security best practices and business goals.
Conduct security reviews and assessments to regularly determine the effectiveness of infrastructure and security platforms and identify areas of security risks and mitigations / improvements.
