A Brief Overview
The Senior Executive Assistant (Sr. EA) will support the [SVP Insurance Services & Operations] who is a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) reporting directly to the President and CEO. The Sr. EA will serve as a trusted partner and primary point of contact for internal and external interactions on all matters pertaining to the support of the SVP. The Sr. EA will be responsible for handling a wide variety of confidential administrative tasks. These include, but are not limited to, calendar management, communications, meetings, presentations, coordinating travel, preparing expense reports, etc. The Sr. EA will be proactive and help anticipate obstacles, solve problems and drive results that support the SVP and TriNet’s strategic objectives.
Locations
United States (Remote); desired locations are Dublin, CA, New York, NY and near Bradenton, FL.
What you will do
- General administrative work: complex calendar scheduling/maintenance, meeting coordination, expense reporting and customized travel coordination
- Assist the SVP with handling email to ensure timely approvals of invoices, requisitions, escalations, urgent matters, etc.
- Proactively manage outstanding action items to ensure responsiveness and follow through on commitments / asks
- Prepare agenda and attend ongoing staff meetings, act as scribe and track action items
- Provide back-up for other EAs as needed
- Interact extensively with the senior management team and their EAs
- Collaborate with the Chief of Staff, Executive Office to ensure alignment with ELT and senior team members
- Understand the business/department you are supporting in order to independently prioritize tasks
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred OR Equivalent education and related work experience
Experience Qualifications
- 6+ years experience in similar administrative/executive support role-Required
- Experience supporting a senior executive (C level), with [insurance] experience is a plus
Skills and Abilities
- Flexibility in work hours based on the shifting nature of time zones; experience working with a remote executive is a plus
- Forward-thinking approach to proactively identify needs the organization at large by seeing the big picture and identifying the steps needed to get there or how to figure out the steps
- Demonstrated experience managing an executives email (flag, filter, respond on behalf of Exec, etc.)
- Exercise independent judgement to stay on course with job duties while taking ownership and accurate follow through to completion
- High level of discretionary judgment and confidentiality
- Expertly represent TriNet to outside entities, including prominent business partners
- Take ownership and have consistent, accurate follow-through to completion
- Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- A keen interest in how our business is run, and a thirst to learn every day
