Senior Finance Manager Europe

During busy periods, the Manager may also support the Region finance team on its other responsibilities, including budgeting, reporting and any other miscellaneous analysis. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain and develop complex financial modeling with external shareholders and inline with internal processes (EurUp excel model)
• Develop long range forecasts for our operations in Europe
• Conduct analysis, also on an ad hoc basis, for the Europe leadership teams
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external shareholders as well as internal finance peers, and business leaders in our Europe operations
• Track performance of acquisitions and projects / organic business growth
• Coordinate the preparation of Board material
• Coordinate any reporting (incl non-financial) reporting to external shareholders

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated understanding of valuation concepts and how to apply them in real world situations
• Strong financial skill set with an understanding of USGAAP, with working knowledge of income statements, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows 
• Excellent financial modeling skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Creative and analytical thinker
• Detail oriented and able to multitask, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities
• Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
• Ability to exercise independent discretion on matters of significance
• High level of Excel skills

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of four (6) years of experience in a business/bank environment in a financial planning role
• Fluent in English; Spanish, French, German a benefit
• Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA) charter or progress towards a charter would be strongly preferred, but is not required
