About the role
Job Description:
Full cycle medical billing department with emphasis on clean claims and denial management.
Role and Responsibilities
- Follow up on assigned accounts and work to resolve billing, reimbursement, and contractual issues with payers and patients
- Contact payers and patients to resolve processing errors
- Submit clean claims electronically or by paper
- Collaborate with other departments to reconcile claims issues.
- Additional duties as required
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- One year of medical billing experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Coding
- Proficient with Excel and Word
- Knowledge of payer websites
- Knowledge of different insurance contracts and payers
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to work independently but also engage and collaborate with a team.
- Able to adjust to change in process or routine

Salary Range:
$18-26 hourly
