Job Description:

Full cycle medical billing department with emphasis on clean claims and denial management. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Follow up on assigned accounts and work to resolve billing, reimbursement, and contractual issues with payers and patients
• Contact payers and patients to resolve processing errors
• Submit clean claims electronically or by paper
• Collaborate with other departments to reconcile claims issues.
• Additional duties as required

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• One year of medical billing experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Coding
• Proficient with Excel and Word
• Knowledge of payer websites
• Knowledge of different insurance contracts and payers
• Strong customer service skills
• Able to work independently but also engage and collaborate with a team.
• Able to adjust to change in process or routine
