Java Senior Software Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Marketing Technology in support of the Survey Management product. This team is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing features that support and integrate with Software as a Service applications. In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• 4+ years of Java programming experience

• 2+ years of API framework experience

• 2+ years developing Cloud Ready applications

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with MongoDB

• Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tooling

• Front end development experience using languages such as Angular, Node.js or React

Job Expectations:

• This position offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days on-site per week)

• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

• Relocation assistance is not available for this position

• This position is not eligible for Visa transfer or sponsorship

Pay range:

For CA locations only- 100,800 - 179,200 USD Annual
