Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4 or Level 5) to join the E-7 UK - Air Vehicle Integration Office Program Management team in Oklahoma City, OK!


As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless integration of air vehicle personnel, systems and parts. You will be responsible for overseeing the integration processes, driving efficiency, and fostering collaboration to achieve project goals. Your leadership will be essential in aligning cross-functional teams and ensuring that program schedules are met while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage air vehicle integration projects, ensuring alignment between program management, engineering, supply chain and production teams.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to achieve integration goals.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement in air vehicle efforts.
  • Drive project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency within the air vehicle integration environment.
  • Mentor and guide team members, promoting professional development and program management best practices.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, business or technical field
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to adapt to changing environments and work statements
  • 1+ year of experience utilizing project management tools and methods such as MS Projects, Milestones, Open Project Professional, etc.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience in program/project management and leadership, with a focus on air vehicle integration in an engineering or aerospace environment.
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing project management tools and methods such as MS Projects, Milestones, Open Project Professional, etc.

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel: Willing and able to travel up to 25% domestically
