Driver/Warehouse Associate

Position Summary:

This position directly supports all Schmitt Music sales and is essential to providing a superior customer experience to both external and internal customers.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Home deliveries (pianos)

· Store deliveries (all stock)

· Off-site event deliveries (all stock)

· Other warehouse tasks as assigned (may include but not limited to loading and unloading trucks, unboxing incoming merchandise or relocating and organizing merchandise and supplies)

Work Environment

Warehouse environment.   Responsibilities of this position may frequently require using hands to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing. This position may often involve standing, walking and sitting. May occasionally be required to climb a ladder, bend over and kneel to put stock away and move and carry merchandise.  This position will require the ability to lift 60 lbs individually and team lift up to 120 lbs. This position will require the willingness to learn and follow techniques to lift and safely move pianos that weigh up to 1,100 pounds.
