Mazda of Dayton is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations between our parts, service, and wholesale departments, while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist retail and wholesale customers in locating and ordering automotive parts and accessories

• Support the Service Department by accurately fulfilling internal parts requests

• Utilize CDK and electronic parts catalogs to source and manage parts inventory

• Ensure accurate invoicing, tracking, and organization of incoming and outgoing parts

• Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional work environment

• Contribute to a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) through professional interactions and timely service

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience; automotive parts experience preferred

• Proficiency with computers; CDK system knowledge is highly desirable

• Strong multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Satisfactory employment references and ability to pass a background check

Preferred Experience:

• Prior dealership or automotive retail experience

• Familiarity with manufacturer electronic parts catalogs

• Working knowledge of service department operations
