VP, Partner Sales

North America

Genesys is seeking a senior leader in our partner organization to head up our North America partner ecosystem as we continue to expand our leadership in Experience as a Service, and further develop Experience Orchestration. This role will require a high level of strategic thinking, business acumen and planning, plus a demonstrated ability to implement.

In addition to heading up the North America partner team, the successful individual will play a key role in the worldwide partner leadership team.  

Reporting to the SVP Worldwide Partners, you will be responsible for catalyzing profitable revenue growth by creating new business opportunities with key strategic partners. You will also lead a team partner managers and leaders and be required to collaborate with other stakeholders within Genesys sales teams across the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivating and maintaining new business relationships with Senior Executives in the partner ecosystem, through focused and disciplined consultative solution sales leadership.
  • Developing a partner plan and business plan for growth, with identifiable goals using critical thinking and experiential knowledge. Effectively executing the business plan and organizational vision.
  • Guiding a team of professional Partner managers [including people managers]. Coaching the team to successfully create and scale key partnerships to influence and motivate business strategies and revenue growth.
  • Create consensus in line with mutual goals among stakeholders both externally and internally to successfully implement revenue-generating initiatives finding mutual wins for Genesys, our partners and end-customers.
  • Achieves a balance between long-term growth and short-term bookings perspective with a customer-first approach.
  • Understands current and future industry/partner needs in the context of thought leadership, market dynamics and guides business plans that deliver short- and long-term objectives for Genesys and the partner.
  • Proven problem solver in complex and multidimensional business challenges with consideration to broad business needs and stakeholders outside of the immediate area of responsibility.
  • Accepts ownership for accomplishing new and diverse challenging requests exploring opportunities to sell across the entire value chain of service and support.
  • Responsible for the North America partner sales pipeline ensuring measurement of the efficiency and effectiveness of our revenue-generating initiatives, using data to inform direction and resolution-making.
  • Maintains and grows a meaningful network of relationships across assigned sales pipeline from senior-level executive engagement through all functional areas of an organization to create and close new business.


Requirements

  • 12 years in leading senior partner relationships in a business development leadership role.
  • Strong relationships with Global partners, with demonstrated success in working with C-Level executives.
  • Strength in change management and working through ambiguity with a focus on balance between continuity and new business initiatives.
  • Experienced in managing strategic partnerships at the executive level.
  • Demonstrated results in achieving global sales revenue targets.
  • Excellent demonstrable leadership skills (people management, people development, strategy and execution).
  • Strong planning, management and execution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to successfully execute cross-team; commands respect with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Thorough ethics and professionalism. Protects Genesys values by keeping information confidential.
  • Exceptional ability to analyze performance data and make compelling recommendations for internal strategy, as well as vendor/partner optimization recommendations.
  • A track record of developing and maintaining partner relationships and consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Experience negotiating complex deals that meet strategic revenue goals.
  • Resourceful and responsive to change – thrives in an exciting environment with a strong sense of importance.
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills; strong presentation skills.

Compensation:
Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $191,700.00 - $376,200 .00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location
