Job Summary
This position specializes in the implementation of the Nuclear Security training program for VISTRA, with primary focus on the force-on-force element.This position will oversee and coordinate the implementation of the VISTRA Fleet Force-on-Force program that includes the adversary training and qualification program, scheduling, and project execution that supports all nuclear power stations within the VISTRA nuclear fleet.
Additional duties includes supporting and tracking of all FOF related enhancements via the Corrective Action Program, budget monitoring, and third-party contract management.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Performs the role of FOF Subject Matter Expert for VISTRA Nuclear.
- Designs, implements, and monitors the FOF VISTRA Nuclear Fleet program with support from third-party security contract services.
- Directs the third-party security contractor FOF members on schedule, training and qualification, and overall project execution.
- Ensures third-party security contractor compliance with VISTRA policies and procedures, USNRC regulation and guidelines, and budgets.
- Represents VISTRA at industry conferences and events as an SME.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- 5 years nuclear experience with an expertise in training or force-on-force.
- Understanding of regulations, codes, standards, policies and procedures pertinent to nuclear physical security.
- Proficiency is the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Lead Controller and Lead Adversary Qualified or ability to obtain.
