Description
The Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning fall 2025 in the area of Economic Development. We especially seek applicants with expertise in economic growth, financial development, technological change, and other areas informed by economic theory.
Vanderbilt stresses excellence in research and teaching in its doctoral, masters, and undergraduate programs. Appointment at the Assistant Professor level requires a Ph.D. as of August 1, 2025. Advanced assistant professors within 3 - 5 years of their Ph.D. with a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching are strongly encouraged to apply.
