Responsibilities 

The 3Rivers FCU Family YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and attentive part-time Member Experience Specialist to create a welcoming environment for all visitors of the Y, connecting them to the Y and their wellbeing journey, showing the facility and equipment, selling memberships, and completing all assigned membership services, duties and transactions with excellence.

• Nurture: Ensure a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for all to belong at the Y.
• Connect: Build effective, authentic relationships with members. 
• Inspire: Exemplify outstanding customer service and a sense of community to Members, Participants, and Coworkers to foster their connection and growth with the Y and within the community.  

Requirements 

Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne as well as:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. If currently enrolled in high school, a diploma will need to be provided upon completion.
• Excellent communication, supervisory, and organizational skills. 
• Excellent human relations skills and enthusiasm. 
• An elevated level of organization, flexibility, and ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
• Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.  

Salary: Part-time $13.50-$14.00 hourly

Hours Available:

• Monday-Friday 6:00am-11:00am
• Monday-Friday 11:00pm-2:00pm 
• Monday- Firday 4:00pm-8:00pm
