The Senior Research and Data Associate (Justice Programs) serve as the primary subject matter expert on data collection and analysis in support of program reporting efforts. They work independently, sometimes leading a team designing appropriate data models, visualizations, and predictive models to enable decision-making and support strategic goals and objectives. They are mission-focused, have great attention to detail, and like to improve how they deliver solutions to senior clients. They have at least 5 years of experience in researching, gathering facts, and using analytical techniques and evaluative methods to produce products used to make organizational decisions.
Arc Aspicio is currently operating in a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely - depending on client, contract, and company needs. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment.
Responsibilities
Consulting associates apply strong analytical and technical skills to help implement business solutions. They work closely with clients and internal teams to improve operations, solve problems, deliver strategic insights, and deliver solutions. Their responsibilities include:
- Support the development and implementation of methods to monitor, evaluate, forecast, and report progress toward achieving program goals and objectives to assist management in making data-driven decisions
- Work closely with other analysts to understand processes, develop analysis methodologies, and coordinate ongoing iterative development of analytical products
- Experience in SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, AWS
- Interest in applying and learning new tools and technology such as artificial intelligence
- Collaborate closely with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service and achieving mission results
- Apply excellent research, analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
- Contribute to our company culture, which promotes collaboration, learning, and helping others to grow and develop
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in researching, gathering facts, and using analytical techniques and evaluative methods to produce products used to make decisions
- Experience in justice experience
- Experience developing business-facing statistical and data visualization capabilities using tools such as Excel and Tableau
- Experience writing technical processes and communicating information in a variety of formats and at various levels
- Excellent skills in strategic communications and ability to create compelling presentations and communicate with stakeholders
- Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
- Clearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship) / ability to obtain a security clearance
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in research or related area
