<p><b>Job Description</b></p><p><b>The growing LEGO® team in Billund is looking for a Senior Manager, Project Procurement who is passionate about creating the next generation of Play Technology!</b> <i>We need an experienced cross functional collaborator to deliver thoughtful recommendations while navigating complex scenarios and a wide field of stakeholders. The LEGO Group make huge investments in technology, so this is a great chance to be part of bringing ground-breaking new Technology enabled Play to the kids of our world!</i></p><p></p><p><b>Core Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Be the Project Procurement Lead embedded in the Technology Development organization (with report within the procurement organization).</li><li>Collaborate as part of the project team to develop pioneering Technology enabled toys.</li><li>Be the one point of contact on behalf of the project team towards the procurement engineering subject matter experts and the manufacturing organization.</li><li>Participate and lead activities with internal project team members including Quality, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production and external component suppliers and electronics manufacturing partner, to ensure optimal key component choices and manufacturing set up.</li><li>Drive and own the business engagement model decision with all external partners on behalf of the project</li><li>Provide expert partner &amp; supplier management, budget management, cost negotiations and drive Statement of work document with internal and external collaborators.</li><li>Ensure that a holistic approach is taken, so that Cost, Total Cost of Ownership, Risk, Environmental footprint, Manufacturability and Supply chain setup are concurrently quantified and considered, alongside other aspects of the projects.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Do your part in our team succeeding</b></p><p>The mission of procurement is to ensure global supply base operational excellence while aligning with LEGO requirements. This role focuses on supporting the product development of Technology components from Early exploration to Design freeze, working with both internal and external partners to deliver the project objectives.</p><p></p><p><b>Do you have what it takes?</b></p><p>The ideal candidate has minimum a handful of years of relevant working experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and project management, and comes with an understanding of engineering and electronics manufacturing processes.</p><p>Moreover, they have:</p><ul><li>Supplier management experience in a multinational manufacturing environment</li><li>Strong negotiation, communication, influencing and problem solving skills with ability to create and manage supplier and stakeholder relationships</li><li>Proven experience in cost modelling and cost structure</li><li>Familiar with New Product Introduction (NPI) procurement activities</li><li>Experience within mechatronic products is an advantage</li><li>A positive approach</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role. </u></b></p><p>#LI-RR1</p><p></p><p>Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
