Principal Software Engineer

The Role

This position is for full stack distributed developer with experience in cloud technology. The engineer will be responsible for developing distributed applications using AWS cloud services to support needs of our business partners in OSG, Retail and FI. Engineer will work with product teams and tech leads to capture, analyze, develop, test, and deploy to meet business requirements.

The Team

This position rolls into the Alternative Investment product in Fidelity's Brokerage Record-keeping Technology organization.

The Experience you Bring

• Experience with a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks

• 3-5 years of total hands-on experience working with AWS, Java, Oracle is expected for this role.

• Experience with API design

• Database knowledge

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog.

• Experience working with CI/CD pipeline, EKS, Docker, Jenkins, Udeploy, GitHub, Jenkins, Stash, Artifactory, Terraform, etc.

• Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQ and database normalization

• Ability to work in Agile Scrum mode
