Surgical Visualization & Guidance is global organization within Ultrasound and has approximately 1000 employees globally. The PMO leader will be responsible for the overall progress of the strategic (growth) initiatives, establish and drive the Operating Mechanism (Op Mech) and further strengthen the culture of Lean and Continuous Improvement within SVG.Specifically, the PMO leader, together with its direct reports, contributes to formulating, executing and monitoring (commercial) growth initiatives to secure double digit growth of the business. Additionally, while in the process of further integration into GEHC, this role oversees the update, implementation and execution of the reporting and review structures within SVG. In all related activities, the PMO leader is a Lean and Continuous Improvement advocate within SVG. There is a strong focus on leveraging Lean, both in the ongoing strategic initiatives (e.g., data driven approaches) as well as ensuring the application of tools like structured problem solving for targeted deep dives. The position reports into the General Manager of SVG and is part of the global leadership team of SVG. The PMO leader will lead a team of project managers.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure success of the programs and related strategic initiatives within SVG.
- Drive the (updated) Op Mech of SVG by adopting the GEHC standards.
- Establish and continuously develop the Lean / Continuous Improvement / Structured Problem-Solving skills within the organization.
- Lead the team of Project Managers.
- Contribute to the overall success of the business as member of the SVG leadership team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BS / BA).
- 10+ years of progressive Program Management experience with a proven track record of impact, preferably in the commercial area.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with a diverse workforce.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
- 5+ years of LEAN experience, preferably with certifications.
