What You Will Do:
- Drives cost savings initiatives through reduction in maintenance spend by focusing on predictive and preventive maintenance
- Lead the team in emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
- Ensure compliance of safety program while performing work
- Lead Preventive and Predictive Maintenance on CNC machines and production equipment and ensure timely completion using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
- Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a 30-day time span and prepare action plans to achieve results
- Supervision, including employee hiring and retention, performance review and discipline

- Measurement of performance to goals and standards

- Systems creation, improvement, and sustainment

- Formalized problem-solving experience and root cause analysis (e.g., A3, PDCA, DMAIC, 8D, etc.)

- Must be able to improve working conditions (safety, quality, productivity, cost) and increase subordinates’ skills and capabilities
- Must prepare action plans for the above and discuss them with Manager
- Must be able to assist Product Line Leaders in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedure, safety, quality control, and performance management
- Ensures effective employee relations. Provides employee coaching and development. Makes employment decisions. Resolves employee issues through problem resolution
- Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Works to continuously improve in all areas
- Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to Manager
- Tracks absenteeism and timekeeping
- Is responsible for all other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years minimum of relevant experience
- Good oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Maintenance Experience
- Experience with a CMMS system
- Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
Physical Demands:
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to pick, feel and/or inspect material. Employee would also reach with arms and hands as needed.
