Overview:
Nerdy is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Consumer Sales to lead and scale our high-performing consumer sales organization. This role is central to driving revenue growth and customer acquisition across our portfolio of AI-powered learning products.
You’ll oversee multiple sales teams, coach and mentor sales managers, and lead execution against ambitious targets—while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer-first engagement. You’ll work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Workforce Management to refine funnel strategy, drive conversion, and optimize team performance through tools, training, and AI-powered insights.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus).
- 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 3 years managing large or multi-layered inside sales teams in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding quota across multiple product lines or market segments.
- Deep experience with sales funnel optimization, including lead routing, objection handling, conversion testing, and team performance diagnostics.
- Strong coaching and performance management skills; you know how to build high-trust, high-accountability teams.
- Comfortable navigating sales forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation using BI tools (e.g., Looker).
