Responsibilities
- Will operate vac truck and other equipment and machinery to assist in the building, repair and maintenance of underground or overhead electric distribution and transmission line systems.
- Operates equipment to maintain roads.
- Perform preventative maintenance to avoid unnecessary downtime and safe working habits.
- Ensure company equipment, material s, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in safe manner.
- Collect and dispose of scrap and excess materials.
Requirements
- Must have and maintain a Class A CDL that is in good standing at all times.
- Must have prior Vac Truck Operator experience.
- Must pass equipment operator exam within 180 days of hire.
- May be re-assigned to work on a different crew to fulfill their shift(s).
