POSITION SUMMARY

In pet care, we focus our sales efforts within the retail and veterinary sales channels to ensure we’re at the forefront of consumers’ minds. You’ll become the expert in our products and the face behind Purina brands to your customers—some of the most well recognized and loved brands around world. 

As a Procurement Business Intelligence Analyst, you will provide analytics and insight into the development of data sources, analytics, and strategies to deliver against key business objectives and drivers. You will be a key partner promoting collaboration with cross-functional teams to design innovative reporting capabilities that provide insights, quality metrics, and business KPI’s. With a strong understanding of business intelligence, data warehousing, data modeling, and data storytelling, you will effectively balance multiple projects, while delivering high quality work. You will have the opportunity to dive into analytics, data visualization, simulations, and predictive modeling to find solutions for a variety of business and technical problems. The role needs to be skilled at querying and analyzing small and large data sets to discover patterns and deliver meaningful tools and insights end to end in the value chain. 

 

  • Build complex models to assess operational opportunities and drive implementation cross functionally. 
  • Leverage diverse technology platforms, such as Power BI and Power Platforms, to refine and automate data sources, harmonize data points, and model "what if" scenarios that can be used to evaluate and predict the impact of Procurement performance. 
  • Analyze and make sense of disparate datasets to determine business and operational trends to drive action. 
  • Analyze unstructured data, form relationships, and provide insights into key elements for various levels of the organization. 
  • Clearly communicate insights in context while translating data into visualizations that aid decision-making. 
  • Demonstrate and shift messaging for optimal reception from various audiences.  
  • Ability view data trends and recommend solutions that tie together a business problem and technology solution to create revenue and reduce loss.  
  • Demonstrate curiosity, continuous exploration, and improvement with the ability to adapt to the needs of the business. 

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in a procurement, logistics, supply chain, customer analytics, or data analytics role


The approximate pay range for this position is $75,000.00 to $105,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
