This position is responsible for receipt, storage and disposition of new material, in addition to packaging and shipping of finished product. Ensure work is accomplished with high quality, in a timely fashion and is compliant with all company and federal regulations.
What You Will Do:
- Inventory Management: Receive new inventory items, inspect for damage and ESD protection, determine proper location, scan documentation for record retention, and issue components to open orders.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure accuracy and attention to detail, comply with all Collins Aerospace rules and regulations (including Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance, and HR), and check work methods and results for conformance to standards.
- Material Handling: Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition, assist with the flow of materials and products according to guidelines and delivery schedules, and prepare necessary shipping documentation.
- Packaging and Shipping: Properly package finished products with required documentation and supply to the shipping team for processing, and assist with the preparation of shipping documentation.
- Reporting and Additional Duties: Report work progress and updates to lead or supervisor, complete tasks within job scope in support of department goals and objectives, and perform other duties as assigned.
Notice: This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High school Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Data entry, warehouse and/or shipping experience
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
Qualifications We Prefer:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard business software.
Experience with inventory management systems and preparing shipping documentation.
Familiarity with ESD protection procedures and compliance with safety regulations.
