Job Purpose:

Business/QA Analyst collaborates with project managers, development managers, technical architects, fellow analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to interpret business requirements, create functional design specifications, and conduct thorough testing. The position ensures that all business needs are effectively translated into functional and testing deliverables through accurate documentation and validation.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
• Functional Documentation: Create detailed functional specifications and drive review and approval with stakeholders.
• Test Planning and Execution: Design, plan, and execute test cases to ensure delivered solutions meet defined requirements.
• User Story and Acceptance Criteria Review: Analyze requirements to create accurate test cases and functional documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, analysts, and business users to ensure alignment between requirements and delivered solutions.
• Data Analysis: Review and analyze test results to identify issues and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working with business analysis, functional design, and testing in software projects.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to create, execute, and document test plans and test cases.
• Experience in analyzing data to support system validation and improvements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SQL or other data tools for data validation and analysis.
• 2+ years’ experience in testing mobile, web, or desktop applications.
• 2+ years’ experience in preparing functional design documentation and test planning.
