At the intersection of these pillars, the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence (DACOE) is building the data foundation and a catalog of data products, analytical applications, and enterprise services that give users across our company the tools, data, and guidance to generate insights. This role is within the Data Solutions team, the customer facing and delivery branch of the DACOE, reporting to the Senior Manager.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analytics Delivery Lead to join our Data Solutions team that is focused on the development, maintenance, and optimization of our data infrastructure. The team specializes in data modeling and Power BI report development to support the objectives of our business stakeholders. The role requires an underlying knowledge of the business being supported (i.e. Manufacturing, Customer & Commercial Excellence, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Finance, Procurement, etc.), a deep technical understanding of information and how to model and transform data to extract insights, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate and present information to various levels of the organization. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

 

• Business Stakeholder Interaction: Actively engage with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, provide data-driven insights, and align data solutions with strategic business objectives.
• Data Modeling: Design and implement robust data models to support the organization’s data needs, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance.
• Data Visualization Expertise: Leverage your expertise to create insightful and visually compelling dashboards and reports, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Data Extraction and Transformation: Familiarity with the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, to ensure data is collected and prepared efficiently for analysis and reporting.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize queries, data models, and visualizations/reports to improve performance and responsiveness.
• Data Governance: Understand and enforce data governance policies and practices, ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
   

Min. Qualifications

 

 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related discipline
• 8-10 years of relevant working experience
• Proven experience in data analytics, including extensive use of SQL and visualization tools 
• Excellent communication and data visualization abilities
• Proficiency in data modeling and ETL processes
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

•  2+ years working in a business domain outside of IT
•  Experience with PowerApps
• Knowledge of SAP – tables, relationships (joins), and adept at understanding and comprehending the information, as well as the processes related to the data
• Experience working with Cloud Data Warehouses, Databases and Data Lakehouses such as Redshift, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, BigQuery, Databricks etc.
• Experience working with one or more languages commonly used for data operations including SQL, Scalar and Python
• Data Engineering/Solution Architect certification – Azure preferred
• Experience working with data tools in the public cloud – Azure preferred
• Experience working with multiple Big Data file formats (Parquet, Avro, Delta Lake, Iceberg)
• Experience of Reporting and Analytics tools such as Power BI
• Experience in continuous integration tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TFS, Maven, Nexus)
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, CRPA) and the impact these regulations have on data engineering framework.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Scrum methods of delivery
