Position Title: Merchandising Manager

Relocation: Must be based out of Kansas City -  Candidate must be able to relocate to Kansas City area to be eligible for relocation package

Job Summary

This individual will develop and implement marketing and visual merchandising design to ensure a consistent brand image through training, execution, and management of a team of retail and marketing counterparts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and communicates key visual merchandising strategies critical to the increase of store revenue
• Develops planograms for category growth and monthly promotions
• Owns and leads the promotional execution through 3rd party tools
• Builds retail pricing opportunities
• Drives compliance to merchandising standards
• Assesses performance by location through audit reports
• Performs other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

• 2 or 4 years degree in a relevant field
• At least 3 years of experience
• Must be able to travel up to 50%
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to balance service-orientation with assertiveness
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs
