Auto-Casing Setup Operator
Immediate opportunities are available for talented Auto-Casing Setup Operator who want to become part of the Johnson Controls team. The Auto-Casing Setup Operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating automated casing machinery used in the production process. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards while ensuring efficient machine operation. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

What You’ll Do:
Read, communicate and understand Operational Method Sheets (OMS) job instructions, handles material to and from workstation and gets workstation and equipment ready for production.
Troubleshoots to identify problems, communicates problems to Maintenance and Tool and Die people and assists with repairs.
Operate and monitor the casing machine during production to ensure consistent and high-quality output. Monitor scrap and ensure it is being properly injected from casing line.
Record any product or machine deviations and take corrective action as necessary to maintain production standards.
Operates small presses and/or some assembler work with air tools.
Work closely with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operations.
What We Look For:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training is a plus).
Previous experience in machine operation or setup, preferably in automated casing or a similar manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and production specifications.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Basic understanding of safety procedures and machinery maintenance.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy steel materials (up to 50 lbs or more).
Ability to stand, bend, stair climb, and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods (8+ hours).
