Humana’s Marketing organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing Campaign Management to join the Marketing, Regulatory and Operational Communications Team working remote anywhere in the US. Reporting to the Associate VP, CRM Marketing, you will lead a team supporting Stars, Wellness/Go365, Medicaid, Onboarding and Specialty product lines.

As the Director, Marketing Campaign Management, you will plan, recommend and implement marketing communication programs using a variety of marketing channels, promotions and events designed to increase sales and awareness for the organization's products and/or services. You will build relationships with your business partners, oversee financial budgets, be adept at project management, RFI/RFP processes and bring team in line with expectations on standardized and simplified campaign management processes. You must be familiar with Agile, Sprint Planning, Feature writing, capacity planning, Salesforce Marketing Cloud development and other systems required to execute campaigns to be successful in this role.

Key Role Functions

  • Oversee approximately 4 leaders of several teams performing various roles across multiple product lines and ensure day-to-day growth and improvement of these teams in support of Humana and CenterWell goals

  • Mentor and develop a dynamic team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning, setting clear goals and performance metrics, and providing regular feedback and guidance to drive team success and professional growth

  • Partner with peers across marketing on overall marketing plans, roadmaps, capability, and resource needs

  • Identify target audiences and specific messages, channels, content and tactics

  • Coordinate end-to-end campaign life-cycle

  • Maintain campaign-related documentation (e.g., media plans, creative executions, etc.)

  • Develop and maintain budgets to oversee costs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns

  • Influence AVPs and VPs across marketing on capacity/resource planning, roadmap prioritization, go to market strategies and technical capability needs

  • Make decisions related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes

  • Implement strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improve performance

  • Provide input into functions strategy

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications, business or related field

  • 8+ years of marketing experience including campaign management

  • 5+ years of management experience

  • 2+ years of project leadership experience

  • Experience working in an Agile environment (including: Sprint Planning, Feature writing, capacity planning, etc.)

  • Ability to engage, educate, influence and guide others at all levels on the power of marketing as a business discipline

  • Progressive levels of responsibility within a fast-paced marketing environment

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience

  • Prior health insurance industry experience

  • Understanding of marketing metrics and program measurement

Additional Information 

This is a nationwide remote role that will primarily operate on EST business hours.

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

  • Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
