The Key Account Manager contributes to the development, management and growth of Albertsons for Pharmavite including Nature Made, MegaFood and any new products/brands. Assists in developing and executing strategic revenue driving activities. The KAM will report to the Director, Albertsons.
Key Responsibilities
Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:
Performs sales and expense goals in assigned area of responsibility.
Executes Albertsons Corporate initiatives within assigned Divisions.
Responsible for approximately 7 Divisions in addition to ad hoc team projects as needed. Prepare business plan and strategy in assigned Divisions to gain incremental programs.
Responsible for cultivating relationships within Albertsons at the Assistant Sales Manager level and above whenever possible.
Manages Pharmavite’s e-Tail business activity at Albertsons
Monitors and identifies competitive activity within assigned Markets to include FDMC.
Complies with all Pharmavite policies and procedures including on-time sales reports, personnel reviews, expense accounts, and meeting notes.
Effectively communicates with Director divisional issues, etc. and for support and approval of account programs.
Works with the Customer Marketing team to design unique marketing and promotional programs for the Albertsons.
In conjunction with the account team, develops recommendations for products, product mixes, and product positioning to drive revenue.

You are focused on wins that are possible while finding ways to achieve the goals of both Pharmavite and Albertsons for a win-win strategy. In addition, you are team minded and willing to learn other aspects of the business and jump in when needed.

Understand the P&L and selling strategy to deliver objectives.
Capabilities & Skills Required
In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have:
Requires a four-year college or university degree or combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 3 years Field Sales experience with either a Manufacturer, Broker, or Retailer with an emphasis in HBC.
Experience with Albertsons (Corporate or Divisions) is preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
Knowledge of Circana (IRI), Symphony and Apollo preferred.
Strong Analytical Skills.
Ability to travel 35-40% including overnight.
