We are looking for a visionary and ambitious Senior Project Manager who excels at managing people and projects to ensure recurring software releases.</em></p> <p> </p> <p>Join our strategically vital and expanding Defence Service Product Development<br/> Established just a couple of years ago, we have already built a dedicated team of 13 professionals, including seven developers, operating in both Aarhus and Bucharest. We are divided into two teams: Service Product Management and Service Product Development, each contributing their respective expertise. </p> <p> </p> <p>We are gearing up for substantial growth, with plans to expand our department with 16 new colleagues in the coming year. As part of this exciting expansion, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join us. Collaborating closely with our existing Project Manager, you will play a key role in scaling up and leading these two high-impact teams.</p> <p> </p> <p>Impact the product roadmap while applying your leadership and project management skills</p> <p>As Senior Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the projects as well as for people leadership and line management of the team. </p> <p>You will play an active and central role in the Service Products leadership team and help shape the roadmap as well as the development team.</p> <p> </p> <p>In addition, you will also...<br/> -    oversee the successful delivery of the quarterly releases, ensuring they stay within scope, maintain quality and remain within budget<br/> -    plan, track and report on project progress, providing transparency and accountability<br/> -    lead the collaboration with the delivery team in software development<br/> -    ensure alignment between project scope, schedules and costs <br/> -    contribute to proposal writing, estimation and feature description<br/> -    apply effective people management, focusing on well-being, motivation and continuous development<br/> -    play an active role in team recruitment and retention efforts.</p> <p> </p> <p>There will be a limited amount of travel, about 15-25 days a year, with full planning flexibility.</p> <p> </p> <p>Visionary and ambitious Project Manager with strong leadership skills <br/> Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to build, grow and lead high-performance teams while overseeing projects to ensure continuous software releases every quarter. </p> <p> </p> <p>You are known as a visionary, ambitious and experienced Project Manager who shines at both strategic thinking and hands-on operational engagement. </p> <p> </p> <p>Your experience with people management and talent development, where you empower technical colleagues to excel through a relationship-based leadership style, is key.
