CDL Driver

Description

Curtis Lane Equipment is an authorized Bobcat® dealer serving Delaware, Virginia, and North Carolina with 10 full-service locations. We offer sales, rental, parts, and service of all Bobcat machines. We are looking for a heavy haul CDL driver. No nights, no weekends, all local hauling, delivering Bobcat equipment to job sites.

Requirements

• Operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle
• Drive trucks with a gross vehicle weight over 26,000lbs.
• Ensure trailer hitch and tractor unit are properly and securely attached
• Safely and efficiently operate heavy machinery and load/unload goods at selected destinations
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
• Track and report working hours
• Adhere to company rules and regulations
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather and road conditions
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations
• Make safety a priority at all times
• Perform light yard duty and maintenance of our rental fleet

Requirements

 Requirements and Qualifications

• CDL required
• 2+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferred
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• Must pass a background check and drug test
