Merchandiser - Joliet, IL

Job Purpose:

The main duties of a Merchandiser are to visit customer locations and stock, rotate and take inventory of product. Merchandisers also run specials, which means delivering products on occasion. 

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stock and rotate products in coolers at various stores
• Document inventory of product
• Stock/restock displays and shelves.
• Communicate with management regularly
• Utilizes a hand pallet mover with up to 150lbs of product in tow
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Transportation vehicle provided but must have a valid Driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Past Merchandising experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work and get along with others.
• Good attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize/ self-motivate and manage time effectively.
• Must be able and willing to work Monday to Saturday
