TDS Employment Specialist - East Bay

Location: East Bay, CA (Hybrid – Field & Remote)
Job Type: Part-time | Non-Exempt
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Join Toolworks as a Community Employment Specialist for Tailored Day Services and support individuals with disabilities in reaching their employment goals. You'll partner with local businesses, guide job seekers, and help build inclusive workplaces in the East Bay.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with East Bay employers to create job opportunities.

• Support a caseload of individuals receiving Tailored Day Services through job search, readiness, and placement.

• Help clients match their skills and interests with real-world job openings.

• Track client progress and complete required documentation for funding and regulatory agencies (DDS, DOR, CARF, etc.).

• Report outcomes and participate in team check-ins and service planning.

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a team.

• Reliable transportation to visit community job sites.

Preferred:

• Experience in employment services, workforce development, or working with people with disabilities.

• Familiarity with Tailored Day Services or Supported Employment.

• Bilingual skills (Spanish, ASL, Cantonese) a plus.
