What You Will Do

  • Design and develop Jet Engine Control Systems for commercial and military programs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and coordinate system requirements and perform early verification planning for engine programs.

  • Review data using PW Unigraph and provide support for investigations.

  • Lead the development of system architecture and perform analyses to support development requirements development and verification activity

  • Effectively manage and allocate requirements to drive project success.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in engine/aircraft system design and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with electrical, electronic, and sensing components.

  • Proficiency in Collins and Pratt & Whitney tools.

  • Demonstrated expertise in DOORS, Matlab, Dymola, and Cameo Systems Modeler.

  • Experience in Engine Control Systems, Model-Based Design, Fuel and Actuation Systems, Hardware Integration, System Dynamic Modeling, and Verification/Validation.
