Summary:

Reporting to the Manager Social Services*, Social Services, this position is responsible for oversight of the Emergency Department’s social work needs as well as Behavioral Health workflow within the inpatient units. This position assesses the psychosocial needs of patients and families and provides intervention to meet those needs utilizing personal, family, and community resources. The incumbent will also provide crisis intervention, brief therapy, case consultation and collaboration services to other professionals.

Requirements:

1. Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.

2. Current registration with the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

3. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.

4. Two (2) years of experience in a lead role is required. Experience in LEAN methodology is preferred.

5. Experience with crisis intervention and brief and long-term therapy, either in a mental health setting or a medical/health setting is required.

6. Experience working with family and community systems and with multidisciplinary teams is required.

7. Strong working knowledge and clinical application of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) is required.

Pay Range: $43.01- $60.21
